Justin Carmello

Justin began singing at the age of six. He became interested in singing as a result of his mother's singing. He started singing duets with her and as his confidence grew, he ventured on to singing solo. He has been singing for a little over a year and a half and his repertoire consists mostly of country tunes. As a student of Advanced Mentor Arts Academy, an entire repertoire of new songs has opened up to Justin as the cultivation of his voice begins.

Now, at the tender age of just 8, Justin, a 3rd grade student at LaMarque Elementary School in North Port, Florida, is already well on his way. He won a semifinal round of a singing contest at Applebee's in Port Charlotte on November 21 and went on to become the young adult winner in the finals of the contest held on December 19, 2006. He wowed the judges with his performance of Brand New Girlfriend. Justin was a featured singer with Buz Music Entertainment after having been singing for a mere six months. Justin also performed on stage for the City of Venice for its 2006 Venice Art Festival and has sung at various Elks Clubs. Justin was cast as "Joe" in the musical School House Rock Live Jr! (2007) where he performed two solos "I'm Just A Bill" and "Conjunction Junction" and performed a duet called "The Great American Melting Pot" with the girl cast as Dori.

Justin is an aspiring youngster, whose parents, mom Samantha and dad Joe Carmello, support all his endeavors and interests. Justin has participated in T-ball, soccer, flag football and basketball where his team took first place in the championship game. He enjoys playing basketball, is an avid swimmer and, of course, likes his video games. Justin also plays piano.
